This year, for the first time, Greece and more specifically the mountain range of Parnassos became the station of the qualifying races of the Freeride World Tour, world freeride ski and snowboard championship.
The Freeride World Qualifier tour is one of the largest events in the world with 80 events and over 2000 riders vying for a unique prize – the FWT ticket.
The Freeride Contest Gr was the FWQ 2 * event in our country, attracting some of the strongest Greek and foreign athletes.
The race took place on March 13, on the imposing slope with the local name “Trypios Vrachos” at the Backcountry Terrain of Parnassos with ideal weather conditions. Forty athletes from Greece and abroad gave their best with impressive drops, unique flow and speed, offering a spectacle unprecedented for the Greek data.
The team that won the trust of the Freeride World Tour for the race in Greece, is WayOut Adventures., A company with an uninterrupted and decisive presence in the development of Greek skiing. The supporting companies also played a decisive role, which with their contribution gave a huge dynamic to the event, establishing it as an institution in our country. Our company, Black crows supported from the first moment this big project and even offered ski sandals as a gift to the winner of the women’s Ski category.
